G-Shock & Lower Collaborate...

G-Shock and Lower have released a limited edition collaboration, combining Casio G-Shock’s timekeeping expertise with Lower’s innovative design talents.

The Mount Maunganui based design house have given the world renowned shock resistant watch a face lift with a handmade New Zealand leather cover, inspired by their recent use of leather.

Referencing a classic New Zealand farming watch, the face is protected within a leather case to withstand the rugged farming lifestyle. This concept has been applied to the sturdy stylings of the G-Shock DW-5600 model from 1987 – a refined version of the world’s first G-Shock.

The watch is packaged in a New Zealand made leather case lined with sheep wool and comes with a sheep dog whistle to accentuate the farming theme.
